Recap: Rumour Has It S2 Ep 9: DAMAGED GOODS

This episode starts with Ronti and her friend sitting in her living room, discussing her present predicament, and Ronti seems to be getting irritated by almost everything the friend was saying. I think the peak was when the friend suggested she prays, hahahahah you should have seen the stare Ronti gave her, it was so funny, just then it occurred to Ronti that her only solution was through Charles, her thought being that he could hack Franklin's and her back her Blog *ironically easy I suppose* but as usual her pride wouldn't let it, but on a second thought she dialed his number and says "I have a job and I'm willing to pay"

Well unto the next, which I felt was the highlight of the whole episode! Femi had the effrontry to go see Dolapo's husband, Franklin, making absurd assumptions, of how they are in love and how they are perfect together, he even said Dolapo was damaged goods to Franklin (Frypan calling the Pot black) then goes further to suggest Franklin leave Dolapo alone, calling it his solution to their predicament.Franklin obviously perceiving what I had perceived, reached for the telecom to call the police to take the deranged man outta his office, then Femi chuckled and made incendiary statements, "....Dolapo never thought I was crazy when I was making sweet sweet love to her..."oh his nerve! Well he got a well deserved punch on his face before he could complete his story, and the beating continued till Franklin's secretary entered the office, shocked to see the event, alerted the security. Franklin at this point had regret on his face, while oga was laughing obnoxiously.

Dolapo and her usually insensitive friend (Who was surprisingly nice today, I liked her) are in her office and one of her staff serves them tea, then Dolapo voices her fear and worries to her friend, "I feel like everyone is judging me...."  she goes on to list her staffs, parent, Franklin's siblings, and Dija, then says she is scared about what the test would reveal, supposing franklin wasnt the father, her friend cheers her up telling her It wasn't as it seemed, and she should think positively, according to how her Gym instructor has been advising, Dolapo chuckled and say she should sack him. It was great to see her smile, her friend noted that too.
This scene ends with uncertainty as Dolapo really wasn't sure she wanted to find out, who the father of her baby was, "What if it's not Franklins' and its Femi???

Well Charles is seen sitting with Ronti *his outfit tho* in her sitting room, and she is questioning why they cannot just hack into Franklin's device and her blog back, Charles *My real guy* doesn't buy the idea and states the obvious fact of it been unethical, and the elephant in the room had to be addressed, but pretty Ronti doesn't want to talk about it, cause her blog is her only problem, but Charles wouldn't have that, he goes ahead to apologise, and tries to explain, and said he did al that to get answers, as her story wasn't matching up, he confesses that Arinze put him up to it, but he had a change of mind when he started liking her, and he doesn't hurt people he likes, he says, Ronti replys with "I'll think about it"
Quickly after, she springs up to her feet and is agitated again at the thought of being helpless over her blog, then Charles *My real guy* says she should retract and apologise. Hahahahah oh no! Anyways long story short Aunty wasn't buying it o, how could SHE apologise?? Other Blogger could do that o, but SHE Ronti Lawrence  of "Rumour has it" would never do that! She goes ahead to say all the things she's going to do to Franklin and his wife, then Charles cuts in "You've been saying this for a few days, all this your gra gra, it's clearly not working, why not try a different approach, you want something right, why not give something in return, even if it's just a little of your pride"....Ronti seemed to be pondering about it

So Femi looking all vengeful, drops hurriedly and angrily from a taxi, and bothers not to pay the driver, the driver calls his attention, And my people I, all he'll was let loose, as he started asking the taxi guy of he thought he was mad and deranged and told him next time to ask for his money politely, of a was banging the car I, talking about polite. Anyway the taxi driver who seemed to not want trouble apologised and tries to explain that he never meant to insult him, he angrily gives him the money, and the funny driver was still telling him to rate him 5 star on the app then ended up calling him "werey" after Femi was outta sight

Femi goes into his room, angry, screams, hits the wall, and started throwing anything he could lay his hand around, it was a frustrating sight, he seen to be angry and confused as to why his wonderful idea didnt work out, then he goes over to the wall, where he has over a dozen photos of Dolapo on it and even that of the Franklin as well, while looking at it, he rubs his head with a knife he was holding then barged out again

Last scene, Dolapo and Franklin are seen at the hospital, they are called in to see the doctor, where the doctor assures them that it's safe to do the test and the baby will be safe, she also says the test would take about 7 days to get ready, after all formalities was discussed, she directed them to the phlebotomy to start the test.
At the door to the phlebotomy, Franklin reassures his wife, he would stand beside her, all through the way, whether it his child or not, he says, he'll stand by her, she cries, he shushes her, then assures her further, "Franklin your husband loves you so much, that's all you need to know" she hugs him
Franklin: I love you
Dolapo: *whispers* I love you too
