Muhammed, who revealed the photo on Thursday, told the Truce Edney News Wire that he ‘basically swore secrecy’ for the photo. At the time, Obama was Illinois Senator and the photo was kept a secret until he secured the Democratic nomination to run for president. Muhammed said it was then kept that way ‘all the way up until the inauguration. Then for eight years after he was president, it was kept under cover. “It absolutely would have made a difference.” He said a CBC employee had called him ‘in a panic’ after

Of that amount, only 500,000 have accepted their admission as at the time of filling this report. Prof Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB Registrar The Board’s Head of Media, Dr. Fabian Benjamin who disclosed this during an interview with LEADERSHIP Friday yesterday stated that it was far beyond numbers recorded for other years. Benjamin however stated that candidates were to accept their admission before the admission is said to be complete. He attributed the increase to the flexibility of the cut-off marks and also the availability of data through the JAMB CAPS (Central Admission Processing System) which was introduced last year. “We have over 500,000 accepted admission already. Whether But are should RUN or NOT in 2019 election is a distraction to him......

Image
The Federal Government said on Wednesday that the issue of whether or not President Muhammadu Buhari should run for another term in 2019 was a “distraction for the President at this time’’. The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed said this in reaction to a statement issued by former President Olusegun Obasanjo on the state of the nation. Obasanjo, in the statement, had, among other issues he raised, called on Buhari not to seek reelection in 2019. “It is true that many Nigerians have been calling on the President to run again, while others are opposed to his return. “However, we believe this issue is a distraction for the President at this time. “This is because Mr President spends every waking hour tackling the enormous challenges facing the nation, most of which were bequeathed to his administration by successive past administrations. “He is committed to fulfilling the mandate given to him by Nigerians in 2015. And that’s where we are right now!’’
