A teenage 16-yr-old girl douses boy with acid for rejecting her love proposal

A 17-year-old boy, Mahmudul Hasan Maruf, has been left scarred for life after a girl threw acid in his face because he rejected her in Bangladesh

The girl and her mother have now both been arrested. Reports say that the boy was walking home after being out with friends when he was confronted by the girl.

She had apparently been chasing after Mahamdul for a number of months despite his rejections. After confronting him, she then threw the acid in his face.

The pictures of the distressed Mahamdul reveal the shocking extent of the injuries he suffered in the attack. Both sides of his face are equally damaged with entire layers of skin missing. 📷: google
